The 4th Annual Summit on Biodiversity, Conservation, and Sustainable Biotechnologies (BioCSB 2025) will take place from June 17–19, 2025 in Kufa, Iraq. Since its inception in 2022, BioCSB has served as a leading forum for experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to discuss cutting-edge strategies for preserving biodiversity and advancing sustainability through innovative biotechnological solutions. Each year, BioCSB brings together a global network of scholars and practitioners from diverse fields—ranging from ecology and genetics to agricultural sciences and industrial biotechnology—to foster international collaboration and exchange of ideas.
Over the past three editions, the summit has steadily expanded its scope, welcoming participants from various sectors who share a common goal: to protect and utilize biological resources responsibly while ensuring long-term ecological balance. By hosting BioCSB in Kufa, Iraq, organizers aim to highlight the unique ecological and cultural heritage of the region, address pressing environmental challenges, and promote research-driven, community-centered approaches to sustainable development. This year’s event will feature keynote speeches, technical sessions, poster presentations, and networking opportunities aimed at catalyzing impactful research and fostering cross-sector partnerships.
We encourage researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit papers and engage in robust discussions on these topics. By gathering experts from various disciplines, BioCSB 2025 aims to forge a collective path toward a healthier planet, sustainable livelihoods, and innovations that respect the delicate balance of our ecosystems. All accepted papers will be published in open-access proceedings, offering contributors a global platform to disseminate findings and enhance their scholarly visibility.
